Well, I am super late on this one. Barely got any taken because he squirms too much. Forget the month sticker on the front...NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

He has awesome balance. He loves to just stand up. Now I need to teach him to take a step!

He finally got his first tooth and the second seems to be taking weeks to actually surface (hence the drool seen below). He is pulling up to a standing position on everything and acting like he wants to walk. He is still Mr. Picky when it comes to food and it just seems to depend on the stars alignment if he eats baby food on a particular day. He barely sat still for these shots, so I am extremely lucky to even have gotten a few!

Kennan's First Day of Preschool

It's FINALLY here! She has been waiting patiently and asking every day for the past two weeks. She seemed confused that Kyler was going and not her (which is confusing to me too!). I don't think she has ever gotten ready so fast as she did this morning. Dressed, eaten, and teeth brushed before 7:45AM! Just look at hose eyes!

Back to School!

Kyler started Kindergarten today. He was more excited about playing with new toys during center time than about "learning" anything. At least he wasn't as nervous as I was! How about a nice candy apple for the teacher to sway her in the right direction? !

Summer Birthdays Celebration!

Relatives from all over descended upon the Roth house in Kingwood for the annual summer birthdays celebration. I think 3/4 of the relatives have birthdays during the summer so we just celebrate everyone's at once. I honestly can say I have not laughed that hard for that long in such a long time. Medicine for the soul I guess you could say. Between the lunatic dogs and crazy kids complete with a newly crawling baby... and add in some hillarious birthday presents like the possessed Elsa doll with the glowing arms who wouldn't stop singing... it was just a lot of fun. Makes me appreciate how special and rare it is to have family be able to come together and enjoy each others company. Thanks to everyone for all the amazing gifts for me and my kids. It was like Christmas with all the gifts!
Kennan had her Frozen theme in the dining room and Kyler had his Hot Wheels theme in the kitchen/breakfast room. One cake for each. Add on another special cake for Teresa's engagement. There was a lot of cake! Thank you mom and dad for hosting and for all the amazing food (my dad was cooking for two days straight!). We are truly blessed and I am truly thankful.
