Hillarious Moment

I was really frustrated with Kyler this morning for a few reasons. Mainly, he wouldn't let me change his diaper. I couldn't get a fresh one on him for the life of me. I guess he really wanted to go naked this morning. We had to get to church for the first day of my Bible study, so we were pressed for time. He was screaming and throwing an all out tantrum (I am certain the neighbors heard the screaming). After the fiasco was over I ran downstairs to get ready myself when Kyler got into some of my bathroom drawers..and did this.... I had to get a picture, as this was one of the funniest things I had ever seen him do. Needless to say, I was no longer upset with him! And yes, that is a tampon he is trying to put in his ear.

San Francisco

Once again I have to thank BCG for another great trip! Well, they didn't know I was there but I stayed in Jamie's hotel (The Palace) and ate some really great food on their bill! I slept and watched movies the first day...awe relaxing! The second day we worked out together (hadn't done that since Kyler was born), ate lunch at a swanky Greek restaurant, napped, and shopped. The third day we hung out at Golden Gate State Park , lunched at the Cliffhouse, and headed down to Fisherman's Wharf. Jamie had to meet up with his team and work, so I meandered down the pier and took an impromtu boat cruise that headed under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. Later, we met up for chocolate sundaes at Ghiradelli Square for dinner (yes, ice cream for dinner). We both missed the baby, so we wound up catching an earlier flight the next day to get home to see him before bedtime. Ahh, what a great trip! I enjoyed every second of it...I really did!

Depeche Mode Concert in Dallas

Jamie won a bid on Depeche Mode tickets and back stage passes, and I wasn't too thrilled initially. Am I the only one who hated life in the 80s and feels like that music elicits bad memories? I wasn't happy that Jamie spent several thousand Starwood points on this event either, but I went anyway since my sister was in town and volunteered to watch the baby so we could have a night on the town. I am really glad I went because it was really awesome. I didn't care much to meet the band back stage although it was interesting to talk to the other people in our meet and greet group and hear about their other back stage experiences. The lead singer has OCD and wears a tight glove (like a neoprene material)to shake your hands. Another band member, the guitar guy, was covered in silver glitter and had on serious silver rock and roll pants and matching vest that could actually blind a person (you can see it in the pictures)....kind of odd for a guy in his 50s (or early 60s even?). The keyboardist band member was the most normally dressed. Anyhow, our seats were in the 12th row and the music was outstanding...WAY, WAY, better than the radio versions. Seriously, these guys could sing..they were extremely talented and what a stage presence. The audience was totally into it and it was like a huge dance party..major positive vibes everywhere and everyone sang and danced to the music. It truly was a great experience!
