Trying to grasp that he is 5 months already. No more "newborn" excuses. He is finally rolling over regularly now from tummy to back, so I can't lay him down unattended anyplace high like the bed. Still a great sleeper and he seems to be establishing regular naps now (when not disrupted by driving to school or soccer practices!!).

Birthday Party at the Horse Stables
Our friends from school had a birthday party at local equestrian center and it was a total blast! The kids fed horses (regular and miniature) carrots and rode horses around the arena. Inside, they had a horsed themed party complete with cupcakes and what else... pin the tail on the horse, of course! Which Kennan won by the way (yay Kennan!).

Rodeo Day!
The kids had tiny Texan day at school and got to wear their cowboy and cowgirl getup. They had their pictures taken by professional photographers at school on ponies so will share them once we receive them.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
My heart wants to honor my Irish heritage and keep traditions alive by 'going all out' on this day but in my utter exhaustion I've been reduced to having them wear t-shirts and pose for a picture (sigh). Maybe next year I will 'get my Irish on' and make the corned beef and cabbage with a few soda breads on the side. Maybe next year I'll play some Celtic music for them. Hey, I let them watch some Irish dancing on Good Morning America this morning. My excuse for not going all out is that is wasn't on the weekend this year, haha. Who are we kidding?!

Shiloh
Shiloh was so young but lead such a great life, full of so many family members who loved her. Thank you mom and dad for taking care of her during all of our family transitions. I am sorry her death happened on your watch. I know she felt an overwhelming love in her last moments in your arms. I wish I could have hugged her one last time. God had other plans for her.
