Meet the Teacher

The kids met their teacher's this week. Kennan has Ms. Jenny and Kyler has Ms. Kim.  Both teachers seem really wonderful and I think it will be a great year!

Happy Birthday Kyler...Again!

We had a small number of Kyler's school and neighborhood buddies celebrate Kyler's birthday at the local Chuck E Cheese. This was his first official party with non-family members. I had a lot of anxiety about it, but it went PERFECTLY! It was tax free weekend so the area was completely mobbed, but that didn't stop the kids from having fun. We are having a bigger birthday party at our house for Kennan next month (complete with bounce house) and expect to invite a lot more friends that we weren't able to invite to this party. Anyhow, Kyler got to take a turn in the ticket grabber machine and got the 1,000 ticket voucher while in there. He was able to pick out an amazing prize... a dart gun.. a.k.a. his "favorite weapon." Ok, if you know my daughter, you know she LOVES cake. I love the picture of her by herself eating her third piece. All the other kids were finished and off playing games but Kennan stayed and ate more and more cake. That's my girl!

Update on Baby Boy Hood

Baby boy Hood is measuring in the 60th percentile already at 27 weeks. All is looking good and healthy, no problems! The third picture looks just like Kyler!

We celebrated all the summer birthdays again this year in Houston. Happy Birthday to Aunt Jeanne, Aunt Eileen, Jeanne Marie, Jenny, Teresa, Me, Kyler, and soon to be Jenny, Brian, and Kennan.  Kennan got so many nice gifts but she spent the entire party putting on body glitter and nail polish on people at the party (from the pink caboodle type thing you see in the picture). So glad that Melissa and her boyfriend Minh came in for the party! Thanks so much for the nice gifts and memories and for Papa Ray for all the great cooking!
