We're Moving!

We're moving to San Antonio! It has all happened so fast, so fast that we have not had a chance to email friends yet about this. This may be the first time you have heard (sorry--have not done a mass email yet). Jamie has left BCG and we are headed to San Antonio. It has been a whirlwind! Our house has been listed for a week, and I am already exhausted from having to keep it immaculate and rushing out at the last minute for showings. I'll keep you updated!

Halloween at My Gym

The kids dressed up in their costumes for their My Gym class. Kyler was a tiger.

Croc Walkin'

Why do people hate Crocs so much? No laces needed or socks..you just slip them on! Here is Daddy and Kyler out walking in Crocs. Kyler was headed to the playground at the elementary school, which I didn't realize until later. That is why he threw such a major tantrum when we had to turn around and head home!

He LOVES the shower!

Kyler loves water in general..dog bowl, faucet, pools of water on the slide. He really loves taking baths in our jacuzzi tub and also likes our shower. He thinks my razor is the glass squeegee.

In real life..

First Pony Ride

We attended a co-worker's child's birthday party and they had a petting zoo and pony rides! It was so fun seeing people we hadn't seen in a while too! There were so many fun things to do it was hard watching Kyler and chatting with adults, so I didn't get to chat as long as I had wanted. Kyler was a pro at riding the pony. He held on great and was squealing with delight...it was so cute! We got some video of it. He rode the pony three times! I am so glad he got to finally see chickens, goats, and a pig in real life, as I am sure he previously thought they were mythical creatures invented by Fisher Price.

My Gym Pizza Party

Kyler has been attending My Gym, which is like a Gymboree class. He gets to run around and climb, play in ball pits, do tumbling, jump on a trampoline, etc. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I really think it has contributed to developing his gross and fine motor skills, which helped with walking. It was pizza party day, and we got to bring a friend, so Kyler brought Claire, his current girlfriend (they've been boyfriend/girlfriend since birth actually). She is an older woman, but only by a couple months.

He is Walking!

I forgot to mention this..he is walking! He came walking into the kitchen about two weeks ago while I was cooking. He walks probably 60/40 to crawling at this point. He has been attending My Gym (like Gymboree class) for one month now and I really think that class helped his gross motor develop faster with all the various balance and sensory activities.

His First Remote Control Vehicle

Any item with the word "remote" in it is Kyler's favorite thing in the world. Uncle Ray and Aunt Vanessa gave him a remote control plane recently and Kyler absolutely loves it. He will only press one button at a time though and it kind of freaks him out when it keeps driving into him (see picture at the very top). He doesn't realize that if he presses the other button, it backs up in the other direction.

Jamie Goes to a Cowboys Game!

One of our friends had an extra ticket, so Jamie went with him to the game in the brand new stadium! It is Vegas, over the top, complete with over the top pricing! Parking was $40! He had a great time though. It was the first Monday night football game for the Cowboys in the new stadium. Guinness Book of World Records was there recording the largest LCD screen in the world.

Cookie Monster

When you stop hearing your kid making noise in the next room and it has been several minutes, it means he has gotten into something REALLY GOOD and/or messy. Case in point. I went to investigate the silence and found him sitting in a corner near Shiloh's bed quietly scarfing down handfuls of cookies. I had left the Vanilla Wafer box on the end table and evidently within reach of the cookie monster! I wouldn't have cared but it did ruin his appetite for dinner.
