Frozen Gingerbread House

Jamie had fun interpreting the directions of the insanely complicated Frozen Gingerbread castle. The ex chemical engineer, may I remind you, had difficulty following the multi-step directions. I think it turned out great though!

Faith Lutheran Christmas Program

Kennan had her adorable Christmas program today at preschool. I think this is the first time ever in the past two years that... one, I had a great angle to see the program and two, Kennan actually participated fully and wasn't scared. She did great! I think she was just so excited to wear her new Christmas outfit that she didn't care. Plus, she is old enough to remember the lyrics and has been singing the songs around the house for weeks.

Party with Santa

Our annual HOA neighborhood party took place last Sunday night.  It was fun but chaotic. I don't understand why they have these things on school nights. Kayson had fun dancing to the live band as he watched "that guy with the beard" from the corner of his eye.

Christmas Decorating

The kids were very helpful putting ornaments on the tree. It was really cool seeing Kayson's face when he saw the tree in place when he woke up from his nap.
