Even though we are doing no-carb/low carb my mother convinced me to buy myself a birthday cake and celebrate with the kids. I am glad I did b/c it was really fun! Another year.
Here are some cute shots of Uncle Brian playing around with the kids during a recent visit. They love taking silly pictures on cell phones! Kennan is wearing Kyler's shirt if you were wondering. We couldn't get it off her that day.
We spent the fourth at the Hoods house in Nederland. The kids had so much fun. Kyler really enjoyed the firework display put on by one of the neighbors down the street. It was his first witnessing of live fireworks (and the really big kind!). I love the picture of Kennan using her new doll brush to "brush" daddy's leg hair.
Kennan and Kyler just love to hit the road in their Gator that Papa and Grandma Hood gave them. I think it is such a cute sight in their little helmets! We secured them in there too with some make shift seat belts.
