Jerseys & Jammies

It's game night at the Hoods! NE playing on one TV and Longhorns on the other.  Kiddos got into it and tried on their new UT jerseys. Fun times!

9/11

We visited the firehouse today (twice because no one was there the first time!). We brought goodies and they let the kids drive and take pictures. Kennan was too scared to participate but still snapped some good ones of Kyler. I organized our playgroup and plan to make this an annual event.

First Day of School 2012

Both Kennan and Kyler attended their first day of school at Faith Lutheran. It was a long day for Kennan, but when picked up, I asked if she had fun and she nodded yes. Kyler also said he had fun today. Yes, that is Kennan's enormous back pack. I guess I should have ordered the "small" size. It only came in preschool, small, and large. The preschool back pack is the same size as the lunch sack seen in this picture.  I learned that the hard way back when Kyler first started school and that is why I went ahead and ordered the large.

Grandma Hood's Birthday

The kids presented her with a hand made card. Kyler explained the roads, tracks, and cars that were evidently on the card.

Jamie's family came into town to celebrate Kennan's second birthday. It was so much fun! I made a little too much baked ziti (thank goodness for the freezer!) and have enough salad to feed ten people for a week. The decorations were pretty (thanks Aunt Leeza!) and Kennan loved her gifts (thanks to Aunt Nell too!). We are truly blessed!  I love the last picture... Kennan is like, "enough of this picture taking already, I want cake!".. That's my girl!
