Halloween Fun!

This Halloween goes down on record as one of the most fun. Of course anything compared to last year would be fun, as I had undergone  a C-section only two days earlier. The night started out with a pre-trick or treating pizza party in the driveway at our friends' house around the block. The kids ate pizza, played donut on the string, and ran around the yard playing in their costumes. It got really chilly so we had to leave a little earlier than planned, but it was so much fun!
Next was trick or treating! Thanks to grandma Roth and Uncle Brian for staying home to watch Kayson and pass out candy while Jamie and I took the other two trick or treating around the neighborhood. Kyler ran into some of his classroom buddies, which he was totally thrilled about. I actually could not keep up with the kids, as they were sprinting door to door! I literally was running down the street after them. Although, if Kennan deemed the doorway too scary, she would abruptly turn away and walk back to me at the sidewalk. There were quite a few zombie displays and scary dressed up adults passing out candy.
When we got home, Kayson was still awake and having a blast watching the trick or treaters come to the door. Jamie had bought a motion and sound sensing jumping spider that would leap out and make screaming noises when they came to the door. That made for some funny moments that even Kayson found to be entertaining.  Overall, this was a great night!!

Jamie won, by the way
