Kayson 9 Months

Last month was a big month for Kayson in terms of milestones. He finally perfected his crawling, loves playing catch (more like you roll it and he throws it), and is a formula-only baby! He is picky about his baby food though... can't be too thick or he gags. He still is not interested in solid food like Cheerios or even the puffs that disintegrate (again, the gagging) but the other kids were the same way. No teeth yet so I'm sure developmentally, they are related. One thing is for sure, he LOVES having his picture taken. He lights up like crazy! Hmmm... seems to take after big sis in that way!

  

Kids in the Bath

The kids are obsessed with taking baths with Kayson. They pretty much fight about it on a daily basis. Kayson has since outgrown the duck and is now enjoying regular baths.

Our favorite amusement park, Nutty Jerry's, was closed on Saturday (How dare they!) so we went bowling instead. Those Hoods have some mad skills!!

July 4 Festivities

We spent July 4th at Jamie's dad's in Nederland. Kids started off in the sprinklers for some 'old school backyard fun' and then some family members came over for ribs and feasting. The kids had fun with the fireworks, of course. Kennan was a little more adventurous this year. Little did I know I would be up until 12:30 IN THE MORNING BECAUSE THE PUNK KIDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WOULD'NT STOP SETTING OFF FIRECRACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I am old. I accept it. You woke up my baby and made me even more sleep deprived, you freaking LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And what kind of parents let their punk kids do this??? I blame YOU stupid parents.

Poor Kayson is healing from double ear infections, but he was in good spirits today, so I went ahead and took some of his 8 month bear pictures. He is starting to crawl, but tends to fall over once he gets going. It is pretty funny.
