Kyler and Gymnastics

Both Kyler and Kennan were enrolled briefly at Winn Kids and both loved jumping on trampolines and tumbling. We had to stop because Kyler has Tball three days a week until April. Kennan just wasn't independent enough so will need to wait another year or so. Both kids are enrolled in a few camps though here over the summer, so I expect the fun to resume once again.

Kennan has finally grown enough hair to put in pigtails! She was on board for a few days and now won't let me put them in at all, but it was cute while it lasted.

First Tee Ball Practice!

As the days alternate between highs of 55 one day and literally 91 the next, Kyler seemed to enjoy his first tee ball practice. It was so windy this particular day, but luckily it was comfortably warm. Thankfully the crazy strong wind didn't stop the kids from falling on top of one another in attempt to field the balls. It was both hillarious and cute. Evidently we have six leftys on the team! This may prove to be the secret weapon of the Cardinals!

Kennan's New Room

Kennan finally started climbing out of her crib so we were forced to convert it to a toddler bed. Plus, I decorated the room a little bit for her using the old San Antonio decor.

Our neighborhood play group met at Sea Life Aquarium and had so much fun seeing the octopus, sharks, and holding starfish.

Kennan's First Dentist Visit

The kids got to see snow for the first time in our new home in Dallas. This was Kennan's first time seeing snow EVER although Kyler doesn't remember that he had seen it as a baby when we lived up in Frisco. We watched it snow really hard from about 6AM til 8AM and then it tapered off. Once the sun came up we got dressed and headed out. I snapped as many photographs as possible. Both kids made snow angels, which wasn't that pretty in 1/2 inches of snow right above black mulch.

The Truglios cooked up some wonderful Italian food... stuffed shells, meatballs, & sausage. Poor Kyler had had his first round of antibiotics after sitting in the minor emergency clinic all day. It was a nice meal at the end of a long day. Uncle Tom flew in from Baltimore and it was great to see him and hear all about his amazing trip to the French vineyards.

Future Adelle?

We continued our yearly Christmas tradition by heading to Grandma and Grandpa Roth's house around noon. Aunt Jeanne, Uncle Mike, and the Truglio's joined. Aunt Teresa/Uncle Ray/Uncle Brian were there too. My children were spoiled to even greater lengths over there. Again, thank you, thank you so much for the wonderful gifts!!!
