The kids had their last day of school today. Kyler finally graduated from preschool.  We will miss their teachers so much!!

Kayson 6 Months, WHAAAATTT???

I can't believe it has been 6 months already. It has gone by in a blink. He started eating baby food in addition to nursing and he is loving his food. He will polish off a whole jar of veggies and a bowl of oatmeal at one sitting. He is the only baby of the three kids who has a gold star for eating! He is babbling a lot more and loves sticking out his tongue. I shot all of these and forgot to use my new good lens. Oh well!!

Princess Tea Party at School

Kennan's preschool class invited all the mommies to a "Princess Tea Party" in honor of Mother's Day today. The kids sang some songs (Kennan was VERY shy). We had scones and tea and then played a game. We were given clues to figure out which mommy matched the picture on the wall drawn by the student. There were clues involving age and likes/interests. I loved that Kennan said I was 25 and I liked to eat spicy soup. Interestingly, all the mommies guessed their child's art accurately. Ill have to get a close up shot and post that later. Thank you Brian for babysitting Kayson so I could attend!

Easter Sunday

The kids woke up to find their Easter baskets hidden by the Easter Bunny in various locations. We had an egg hunt in the back yard complete with a confetti egg rain storm. Uncle Brian and Papa Hood were here to enjoy too. Now for the turkey dinner! Praise, He has risen!! Kayson slept through most of the festivities.

The kids had their Easter parties at school this week. More egg hunts = more candy, ugh. We have another egg hunt tomorrow with a local organization (and then another one at church on Saturday!)! They love it though!

What do you do on a rainy day the week before Easter? Dye eggs of course! Even Kayson got in on the action.

Spring Has Sprung!

...until Monday when it will be in the 30's at night but at least we planted some flowers! It was a complete impulsive experiment and not thought out at all. For instance, these are not suppose to be in direct sunlight but I have placed them in our west facing front yard and completely directly in sunlight. Oh well!  Oh, and the kid's faces are painted because they went to an Easter party in the neighborhood. Thank you Grandma for visiting and helping!!
