Beach Day Trip

While on our visit to Kingwood, we decided to take a trip down to Galveston with Grandma, Grandpa Ray, and Uncle Mike. It was a little chilly, windy, and cloudy, but that did NOT stop Kyler from fully enjoying himself. I don't think I have ever seen him have so much fun. There was a little girl who he played with the whole time and they were jumping in the waves (yes, swimming in the water!). The water temp wasn't too cold, but the windy air sure was! Kennan enjoyed eating Oreos and digging in the sand. It was a perfect day to fly kites. Of course the sun came out the last thirty minutes we were there and it was beautiful as we were leaving. Oh well.

Houston Rodeo

We met some friends down at the Houston livestock show and rodeo. The kids had so much fun! The animals at the petting zoo were the most aggressive I had ever seen... the goats were jumping up on us like dogs. Kyler had a pony ride and we all went to the pig races. Kyler got really brave and went on an enormous slide (with Aunt Teresa of course!).

Zoo Day!

On one of our first visits to the Dallas zoo the kids got to hand feed giraffes! It was amazing! Kennan got slimmed by a giant tongue. We went to a bird exhibit and fed some birds. Kyler was so brave to let a bird sit on his arm for the first time.

Welcome Coco!

We welcomed "Stinky Coconuts" AKA "Coco" the Beta fish into our family this afternoon on an impulsive visit to Petsmart. It was fun setting up the little aquarium and letting him into his home.

Our New House in Dallas

Here is a picture of our new house in Dallas. I am so excited! It needs some updating inside but I am looking forward to putting our personal touch on it!

Kyler's First Attempt at Dressing Himself

This is what happens when you let your kid pick out his own clothes for the day. I say, at least he is color coordinated!! I finally convinced him to put on a shirt after I told him that the policeman will come get him because he will think you are crazy (plus it is too cold).

Under Contract

We have been under contract for 6 days now. Almost done with the option period. Now to find a house in Dallas!

Dinner at Truglios

Another yummy dinner at the Truglio house! I think I was exhausted from Kennan keeping me up all night at the hotel because I didn't take many pictures.

Christmas Evening at the Roth House

Round two at the Roth house! My kids are so blessed! Kennan received a pink tricycle from Uncle Mike and Uncle Tom. Kyler received a Razor rider from Uncle Tom and Uncle Mike. They had so much fun trying them out.

Christmas Morning at The Hood House

The kids woke up to many gifts from Santa! Kyler had been working very hard on earning these gifts over the past several months. Thanks to Grandma Hood for making this such a special morning! Kennan loves her stuffed animals... kisses, kisses, and more kisses!
